I was initially stressed with the entire moving process but was finally able to relax after our initial home viewing with each other. Destinee made the home finding and leasing experience manageable and was a delightful person all throughout.

***Update*** After speaking with Kimberly Vo, Realtor, on the phone, I can say Kimberly Adam Realty was not the problem. She didn’t throw Kevin under the bus but instead took the time to communicate with me directly and professionally. They truly are a customer-first company. Kimberly took time out of her busy schedule to call me and hear me out, and that meant a lot. As I venture into real estate in the DFW area, I already know which property management team I’ll be working with! Thank you, Kimberly, for showing what true customer care and integrity look like. Renting from Kimberly Adams Realty was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had as a tenant. While I don’t blame the realty company as a whole, the property manager, Kevin Tran, was unprofessional, difficult to work with, and lacked basic customer service skills. As a Veteran moving to Texas, I expected some level of understanding or training regarding military and veteran protocols — unfortunately, that was not the case. I was charged $50 to remove a fiber router I intentionally left behind for the next tenant (since the home didn’t have fiber internet service), and $100 for a cabinet stain caused by an old dishwasher that belonged to the landlord. It’s unclear why tenants should be responsible for damages caused by the owner’s appliances. The home also had several unresolved issues — including a front door that was never properly repaired and a need for an energy conservation study due to inefficiency concerns. When I brought these matters up, I was essentially told, “Welcome to Texas.” If you’re considering renting through this company, I strongly suggest requesting a different property manager. Based on my experience, I would give zero stars if possible. I have documentation to support everything stated here.

Had a great experience buying and selling a house with Brittney Matzkanin. She was able to help me find a rental property in a great area for a good deal. Not being from Texas she was able to really handle finding a place for me to buy based on the criteria I had. Place did a great job growing in value and she was able to sell it quickly a number of years later when I decided to no longer run rentals. I’ll be using her again ifI ever buy in the area again.
